Owls of the World In-Person
Did you know owls can rotate their heads up to 270 degrees and that some can hear prey moving under a foot of snow?
These amazing birds of prey are full of surprises, and you can meet a few of them up close at “Owls of the World,” happening at Rodman Public Library on Monday, November 17 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium.
Presented by Raptor Hollow Sanctuary, based at Butler-Rodman Park, this free program will feature two to three live Owl Ambassadors and give students the chance to discover what makes these nocturnal hunters such incredible predators. Learn about their natural history, anatomy, and the amazing adaptations that help owl species thrive in ecosystems all around the globe.
This program is open to all children and is best suited for kindergarten and up. Space is limited, so registration is required. Visit rodmanlibrary.com to reserve your seats today.
